NSU’s Deepak Raj Joshi Elected FSU President at TU Central Campus

Kirtipur: Deepak Raj Joshi of the Nepal Students' Union (NSU) has been elected as the Free Student Union (FSU) President at Tribhuvan University’s Central Campus in Kirtipur.

In the election, 3,108 votes were cast, with Joshi securing 789 votes. His closest competitor, Siddhant Bhatta of the All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU), received 781 votes, followed by Prabin Dahal of the All Nepal National Independent Student Union (ANNISU), affiliated with the CPN (Maoist Centre), who secured 727 votes. Independent candidate Ujjwal Khadka received 515 votes.

Despite losing the presidential post, candidates from ANNFSU won all other positions in the FSU election.
